Awagami Inkjet Papers are extraordinary Japanese papers created solely in the Tokushima mill to yield museum-quality digital prints.
Crafted from natural fibers and pure mountain water, Awagami inkjet papers faithfully retain the texture of Japanese washi yet are specially coated to maximize the creative potential of your digital prints.
Kozo Papers- Kozo (mulberry) is a traditional fiber used to make washi that produce exceptionally strong archival papers. The 'Thin' is 70gsm and the 'Thick' is 110gsm and both have a natural to warm paper tone.
Inbe Papers- Inbe represents a unique achievement in Japanese inkjet papermaking as it is composed of a complex mix of ultra-strong hemp & kozo (mulberry) fibers and has a finely textured surface. Inbe papers are some of the naturally whitest Awagami inkjet papers (no bleaching or brighteners). This paper is 125gsm.
Mitsumate- Mitsumata Double-Layered is an elegant smooth washi with a warm tone and very subtle gloss. The top printable side is made from 100% Japanese Mitsumata fiber while the back (peel-away) side of pulp is discarded after separating. This paper is 90gsm with both layers and around 30-35gsm when the top layer taken off.
